Claire Graduated from St. Georges in 2010 with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy and combines her role at Core Body Clinic with a senior physiotherapy position at Circle Reading. Claire is a very experienced musculoskeletal physiotherapist and treats patients suffering from pain in the back, neck and pelvis. She also treats shoulder, knee, hip and muscular problems. Claire is dual trained and combines her musculoskeletal knoweldge with that which she obtained during a post graduate certification (POGP) in Women's Health Physiotherapy (POGP). She has a specialist interest in Women's Health Physiotherapy, treating women suffering from diastasis recti, pelvic pain, stress incontinence and incontinence, problems related to pregnancy, pain associated with intercourse and those who have undergone gynaecological surgery. Claire is also very keen to see women before they have surgery and, as a mother she understands the need to support those women who are going through pregnancy and the importance of pelvic strength after giving birth. Claire's combined and unique training in msk, sports and women's health creates a highly specialised service to cater for those women who want to return to sport and exercise after having problems affecting the pelvis/bladder/sexual organs or after having a baby. Claire also works with Reading Abbey rugby club as their match day physiotherapist, and plays for the Abbey Nuns!
Claire is also certified in Pilates and Acupuncture and she is member of the POGP (Pelvic, Obstetric and Gynaecological Physiotherapy)
Outside of work she has a passion for Rugby and has a young family.
